BETO: The Artist

Beto (Mario Alberto Torres) is an artist currently residing in the Tampa Bay Area. He was raised in Bucaramanga, Colombia but later moved back to the United States living in multiple cities within the country in the past 20 years, recently settling in Florida. 

He has a passion for colorful and vibrant art. His paintings have relaxing yet complicated patterns that combine scenes, shapes, figures, animals and landscapes in real and imaginative worlds, with colors and lines that help guide the viewer through the painting.

Initially Beto discovered painting provides a way to express strong emotions and decompress form the reality of life into an imaginary world. Ever since, he has fully immersed in the discovery of new colors and patterns, and in the expression of complex emotions.
